IFSST Code of Ethics
One of the principal missions of the International Soft Skills Training Federation is to encourage high standards of ethical conduct in dealings with employees, clients, and competitors. To further that mission, the IFSST board of directors has adopted the following general code of ethics, applicable to all staffing firms.
Code Of Ethics and Good Practices
As a condition of membership in the International Soft Skills Training Federation each member pledges its support of, and adherence to, the principles and practices set forth below. IFSST members acknowledge that such compliance is in the best interests of the soft skills training industry, its clients, and its employees. IFSST members agree to always strive:
- To comply with all laws and regulations applicable to their business, and to maintain high standards of ethical conduct in the operation of that business and in their dealings with employees, clients, and competitors.
- To treat all applicants, clients and employees with dignity and respect, and to provide equal employment opportunities, based on bona fide job qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any basis prohibited by applicable law.
- To maintain high standards of integrity in all advertising, and to provide equal training and employment opportunities to all.
- To encourage students, staff and affiliates efforts to upgrade their skills.
- To quickly and appropriately respond to client complaints and concerns.
- To utilize best efforts to match training programs with each clients respective goals and missions
- To keep all clients apprised of any changes in price of course(s) offered, number of class(es) available, enrollment dates and or certification requirements.
